[edit] Concerns about categorisation

I'm not sure this belongs as a subcategory of Category:Airliner crashes caused by pilot error. Arguably, some CFIT incidents are not caused by pilot error at all but equipment malfunction (such as silent AI failure in IFR), or deliberate actions (as we saw on 9/11). (Depending on your definitions, these things don't count as CFIT). I still don't like the implication that CFIT is pilot error "by definition" as this category scheme suggests. -- FP <talk><edits> 10:14, August 5, 2005 (UTC)

I felt that users looking for articles on CFIT crashes may try Category:Airliner crashes caused by pilot error first. I've added a link from that category to the Category:Controlled flight into terrain crashes category. GCarty 13:44, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
