The shield of SR 514

Washington State Route 514 was a former state route in the U.S. state of Washington. It was an auxiliary route of Interstate 5. It started at Interstate 5 in Fife, then headed north to SR 161, where it ended in Milton.

In January 1964, SSH 1X became SR 514. At the time, SR 514 crossed the Pacific Highway 3 times. The Pacific Highway was U.S. Route 99 from 1926 to 1962. Then it became Interstate 5 Business. In 1969, US 99 was dropped from the U.S. Route System in Washington. On April 1, 1992, SR 514 became defunct. (more...)
