[edit] History
The Smokey Point Community Church was formed as a church at the Smokey Point Garange Hall in the early 1950's.[2] The church was succesful and soon expanded to the present church campus in the mid 1980's. The church's old auditoruim was packed at the Sunday sermon with 1,000 people. In 1999, the church expanded the buldings and held three Sunday sermons at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM. Later, a Saturday sermon was added at 5:30 PM. In 2000, another building was added and the current campus was complete. In February of 2007, the sermon times were changed from the original ones to the current times.[3]
