Primary State Highways

Primary State Highways were the state highway system of Washington from 1905 to 1964. Among these routes, the two longest are Primary State Highway 1 and Primary State Highway 2. Primary State Highway 1 or PSH 1 went from Blaine (U.S.-Canada border) to Vancouver, and became U.S. Route 99, then Interstate 5. PSH 2 went from PSH 1 in Seattle to Idaho, and became U.S. Route 10, then Interstate 90.
