These TIE/Ln Starfighters are the TIEs that started the TIE series. Twin laser cannons are on the chin. And they started out unshielded, but during the Battles of Yavin, Hoth, and Endor, they came out with light shields.

This TIE/sa Bomber is a ground attack/bomber\fighter craft that has higher speed and more maneuverability than that of the BTL Y-Wing. They're also equipped with heavy shielding. The armament consists of electron torpedoes, electron missiles, electron bombs, orbital mines, anti-thermal detonators, and 2 laser cannons.

This agile TIE/In Interceptor was armed with 2 chin laser cannons and 4 wingtip laser cannons. The speed and performance rivaled that of an A-Wing, and the second version was a vast improvement over its predecessor and outperformed the A-Wing.
