[edit] Small change
Changed "president" to "leader", when referring to Guzman's position in the Shining Path. Seems less controversial, as president carries many connotations in English. The Spanish word "presidente" can also be translated as "chairman". —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.121.17.16 (talk) 07:20, 27 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Faction of SL that Artemio belongs to
The article says This might be because he takes the imprisoned former leaders, Abimael Guzmán, or his successor, Óscar Ramírez Durand, to be the true leaders, not believing their orders for the Shining Path to lay down its arms.
I was under the impression that Artemio belongs to the faction of SL that does believe Guzmán wants to enter into peace agreements, and continues to "fight for a peace accord." This faction is sometimes called the "Luchar por un acuerdo de paz" because that's the slogan they carry. --Descendall (talk) 07:40, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
