Talk:Complex numbers exponential

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] What is this article supposed to accomplish?

The biggest flaw right now is that there is no introduction to explain the math and why it is important to the Wikipedia. That can't be easily determined from the math (and I took calc and linear algebra back in the day, so I'm not completely out of league here). What is a complex numbers exponential and why is it a topic worthy of inclusion in the Wikipedia? —C.Fred (talk) 06:04, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm surry for trying to contribute , I shouldn't have wrote any thing at the first place —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hasanalj88 (talkcontribs) 07:00, 25 December 2006 (UTC).

That's not inherently true. Conceded, there are guidelines which are useful to read over before contributing, but Wikipedia does encourage editors to "be bold". My first aim was to fix the article, but there's not enough context for me to help explain what's going on with the math. —C.Fred (talk) 07:09, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

I've added a {{hangon}} tag to the article which should protect it from deletion for a short while. Please try to fix this as soon as possible; as C.Fred says, as it stands the article doesn't provide enough (or in fact any) information about what it's actually for.
