Talk:Compassion Over Killing

[edit] POV
This article presents no criticisms of this organization and uses a completely inappropriate tone, particularly the paragraph about the egg labeling legal fight. Natalie 22:46, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
Sounds like Soap Boxing to me
- I agree. Definitely changed a lot since I started it... Archer7 18:27, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Natalie: My primary concern was also regarding Soapboxing/Advertising. This reads as a veritable Anthology of actions of COK. Rather than an article which relates information ABOUT COK, it's primary focus seems to be self promotion. While a substantial improvement over previous versions, this article warrants (in my opinion) substantial whittling. If we are to include absolutely every Nonprofit Organization in such tedious detail, including campaigns, activities, myspace profiles... these articles will assume no more collective value than unpaid outreach efforts. - In that case, I think you picked the wrong tag, since the tag clearly states "This is primarily a statement about the article's subject, not necessarily its quality or veracity" (emphasis mine). Natalie 00:11, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
With my apologies, I have removed my Tag. Ares0524 07:19, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Kickass. I'm still not having any luck finding independent sources. If you have access to Lexis Nexus or similar, that might help. Natalie 18:40, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. So, in the interest of impartiality, I have removed or altered all of the content that contains adjective bias. Also, I have removed those links that are unmistakably promotional. What does everyone think of the change?Ares0524 15:34, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
