[edit] Sendmail on Windows

Just checked http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:unofficial&hs=TQk&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=sendmail+on+windows&spell=1

and there are several versions of sendmail available for windows. Jjk (talk) 13:54, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] NNTP

this is absurd. i realize that some MTA's support NNTP, but it is not a mail protocol, never has been, and never will be. it's one of those 'let's throw this in too' features, because it's a relatively lightweight protocol. it may be a feature of some mailservers, but since it's not a core email component, i think it has no business being in a comparison chart of email servers. any objections to removing it? [edit] hMail?

hMailServer is a GPL MTA for Windows. I can't find neither an Article for it nor an entry in this list. I'll add an Article in a few days Subbu (talk) 07:30, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Edit: Sorry, Found the article :-/ -Subbu (talk) 09:20, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dovecot?

Dovecot (http://www.dovecot.org/) is a good IMAP/POP3 server that should probably be added to the comparison. There is a very basic page covering it already http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dovecot_%28software%29. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.165.163.222 (talk) 18:09, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
