[edit] Merger Proposal

I propose that Como West Public School be merged into this article. The AfD on the article seemed to point towards a merger, although it was given as no consensus. There is nothing significant about this primary school, that couldnt be covered in the suburb article. Twenty Years 03:46, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

  • Oppose This school appeared on the Hansard a couple of times, was completely burned down in 1994 then rebuilt in 1995. I think this is of some significant? Scanorama, 13:27, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Oppose - but thanks to Twenty for notifying me about this proposal. We merge articles into the locality when there is insufficient information available for a standalone page. At the moment the article is a bit thin but there is plenty of scope for expansion - the three Hansard mentions need incorporating in the article, the fire deserves a section and a web search shows other material that can be incorporated. A merge would overbalance the locality article, that itself needs expansion. TerriersFan 16:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
