Talk:Comminution

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I just did some reorganization, and figured I should describe my philosophy here to see whether it works for other contributors. I removed the stuff that already existed over in crusher, since there isn't much point in having two copies of material like that; that's what links are for. I split off the descriptions of the various grinders into a grinder (milling) article, which also stole a piece off the end of the old crusher article too. That leaves not much here in this article, yet. I figure the grinder and crusher articles should focus on describing just the machines themselves, and this article would then be a good place to put information about the general uses and history of grinding stuff up. Sounds good to me, but it would never be called Grinder (although Crusher is right). Books on the subject talk about Crushing and Grinding or in a plant you have your Crusher and Grinding Mill.
