[edit] Pruning list, finding references
This article has been tagged with "references needed" for over a year. I'd suggest pruning the list of bands to those that have achieved significant fame or had a substantial influence on the genre, and explain that influence rather than just list the names. Right now it seems to be a list of any band that's performed a comedic rock song. After pruning, it would be a lot more manageable to substantiate the material with references, as the less significant bands are much harder to find mentioned by a reliable source. -Agyle 01:31, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
