[edit] Merge COMSEC ?

att, I'm inclined to disagree, as COMSEC equipment is different than commun secur. A related topic certainly, but not quite a subset even.

And, many folks have a fascination with the equipment itself. Note the number of websites etc which deal with it.

It's not my interest particularly, but I think this article desrves a substantial expansion. Battle of Wits has some comments on RAM equipment, that, as one interested in the history of computers I find fascinating. Most of that might find a place here.
