A competitive dance group strikes the ending pose at the conclusion of their competition performance. Dance groups such as this are typically formed from classes of dance students.
The performers in this image belong to a tap dance class at Westside Dance and Gymnastics Academy in Tigard, Oregon. The photo was taken by Jim Lamberson at a regional competition conducted by American Dance Awards (ADA)—a competition production company that conducts dance competitions nationwide—in Portland, Oregon.
