Ahead of the flooding of the Hamdab High Dam the Manasir are moved from their homeland Dar al-Manasir. During their relocation, their villages are destroyed and their cultivated palm trees are compensated (see red color on the trunk), partly uprooted and burned to prevent them from returning.
