Photo of the comet Ikeya-Zhang. The photo was taken using the following equipement:

  • Camera: Pentax 6x7
  • Lens: Pentax Takumar 400mm f/4.0
  • Film: Fuji Provia 400
  • Exposure: 10min. at f/4
  • Scan: Umax Astra 1220S with transparency adaptor
  • Processing: Removing of vignetting and gradient (light pollution); the bad quality of the scanner shows up in the irregular density and color variation across the frame.
