061213-N-8158F-025 Pacific Ocean (Dec. 13, 2006) – An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the “Black Aces” of Strike Fighter Squadron Four One (VFA-41) launches from the flight deck aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently underway conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of Southern California.
