Computerbank

Computerbank Victoria recycles and reuses computers donated from businesses and individuals with free software and distributes them to disadvantaged individuals and community groups.

Computers are shipped with a custom GNU/Linux distribution, based on Ubuntu GNU/Linux and optimised for older hardware.

Since 1998 Computerbank Victoria has distributed over 3000 computers and recycled and reused around the same.

Kylie Davies is the Coordinator and Work for the Dole Program Manager for Computerbank Victoria.
