Computational Research Laboratories

Computational Research Laboratories (CRL) is a research institute fully owned by the Tata group. It is engaged in the field of high performance computing. As on 13 November 2007, CRL had the fastest supercomputer in Asia called EKA.EKA is a Hewlett-Packard based system with a performance of 117.9 Teraflops. EKA was bult in 6 weeks time with a investment of 30 million funded entirely by Tata Sons. [1]
