Complices is a studio album released by mexican pop singer Luis Miguel. The album was released worldwide on May 6, 2008. It is one of the most highly antipated projects by the artist. The first rumors about this disc was that it was going to be a duet album, but it was not until March that details of the album were released.

This was rumored as a duet album (like Papito by Spanish singer Miguel Bosé). But in the first days of March, the first official details from the album had released. In this report that the label made public, is shown the first promotional picture, and also that it will be an album with all of the songs new. It was also revealed that Manuel Alejandro is going to participate in the production and he will compose songs to the disc.

However, on April 1 of the same year, new details have been mentioned. The name ¨Complices¨ was made official name for the album, revealing the release date on May 6 by Carlos Q.in Univision.com. Also, a radio station on United States played what is seem to be the actual single. It was played in a very popular latin radio show. And again, the piracy made that the song was made to be found complete on internet. By April 2, the song was very popular on the Internet. As a consecuense of this, is rumoured that Warner Music executives decide to change the date of the single release. The release was officially made in USA at April 3. In the other countries, it was still April 7th.


"Si Tu Te Atreves" (If You Dare) was released worldwide finally on April 7, 2008, which debuted on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks at number 23.

In April 27, the video of "Si Tu Te Atreves" made a huge sucess in the latin music. Also, with the video, it was made official that in Spain the release date it was changed to May 2.

It was released on May 2 in Spain, and in May 6 in all other countries. Complices sold almost 350,000 copies and won 4 platinum discs for the sales of the CD in just the first 24 hours of the release. [1]. At May 6, Luis Miguel made a press conference on the Centro Español in Mexico City to officially release the album.

At May 14, 2008, it was made official by the list Billboard 200 that Complices in United States is the singer's highest charting album ever (surpassing his peak at number 14 in 1997 with Romances), as the set takes a bow at No. 10 with 32,000 copies, which also gives Luis Miguel his eighth No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart, the most of any artist in the history of the list[2].

Tour Complices will start at September 12-15, 2008 in Colosseum of the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV, in USA. He will also confirm a few concerts on Arena Santiago in Chile.
