Compaq TC1000
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The TC1000 is a hybrid Tablet PC designed by Compaq, before it was purchased by HP. It used the Transmeta Crusoe processor. The display is detachable from the keyboard for ultra-portability.
The TC1000 was replaced by the HP Compaq TC1100 which features a faster Pentium M processor and integrated Wacom digitizer among other small upgrades. With the keyboard, it is a fully functional laptop, while without the keyboard, the PC is a thin slate and so will increase portability. The product was developed and manufactured using ODM model from LG Electronics, Inc. of South Korea.
