[edit] History

The first Como railway station was opened in December 1885 and made Como a popular weekend resort. When a new railway bridge was built further south in 1972, a new station was also built here, about a kilometre southwards. The original station platforms are still visible today near a power station, but there is no public access.

[edit] Platforms/Service

The station is served by two trains per hour for most of the time, with additional trains at weekday peak hours.
