Community Information Grid (CIG) 1.0

The Community Information Grid (CIG) 1.0 is a composition of real-word and cyberworld elements providing the users with fused-data, that is linked geo-spatially, and easy to access meta-data encoded Information.

A Community Information Grid (CIG), on one hand, is a unique composition of resources, both in the in cyberspace and in reality, which uses the Resource Description Framerwork (RDF), including XML and Unique Resource Identifier (URI). It is the structure of resources, their nature, and their mode and rules of transformation which form the meta-tagged consensual information which is used during the normal operations of a CIG. On the other hand it is the hardware and connectity used to bring the end-user access to the resources via a number of ways including hardline, GSM and cellular data, WiFi, and WiMax.
