Comitas trailli is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Turridae.

This species is endemic to the South Island of New Zealand.

This species is found at depths of between 25 and 110 m.
[edit] Shell description
On the spire-whorls there is a weak submargining smooth cord, followed by a deeply concave, faintly spirally striated shoulder sulcus, and from there to the lower suture the axials are overridden by three spiral cords.
Coloration varies from yellowish or purplish-brown, in shallow-water shells, to creamy-white in those from deeper water.
The shell height is up to 28 mm, and the width is up to 10.25 mm.
