Comedown is a single from British rock band Bush from their debut album Sixteen Stone. It was released as the third single off the album in 1995. It became one of the band's most popular songs reaching #1 on The Billboard Modern Rock Tracks Chart and #2 on The Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart in late 1995.
The song still enjoys regular airplay on Modern Rock radio, more radio play than later hits by the band such as "Swallowed," "Greedy Fly," and "The Chemicals Between Us."
"Comedown" was essentially the band's breakthrough hit and paved the way for Sixteen Stone to sell over 6,000,000 copies in America, and "Glycerine" to become a massive hit.
