Comedo carcinoma
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Comedo carcinoma is a type of ductal carcinoma in situ (very early-stage breast cancer).
Comedo carcinoma is a non-infiltrating and intraductal tumor. The duct will have characteristic necrotic tissue with calcification that feels cord-like. Squeezing the duct will yield inpissated material that is cheesy-like and similar in consistency to toothpaste.
