Come Early Morning is a 2006 film, the feature film directorial debut by Joey Lauren Adams, starring Ashley Judd and Jeffrey Donovan. The movie was shot throughout the metropolitan Little Rock area including Pulaski Heights, and Adams' hometown of North Little Rock. It premiered for wide release in Little Rock on December 14, 2006.[1]

[edit] Plot summary
Lucy wakes up in bed with a stranger and obviously from a night of drinking. She checks out and pays for the motel room on her account. Through her grandmother, she finds out her father is in town and pays him a visit. She agrees to go to his new church.
She visits her local bar called Forge in Little Rock and she runs into a woman who slept with her father. A brawl begins and she is rescued by Cal, a new guy in town. She attends church with her father on Sunday morning with a beaten up face.
She buys a jukebox from her local bar and carts it around in her truck. She drinks a beer with Cal and gives him an invitation to ask her out.
