Comcast Interactive Media

Comcast Interactive Media (CIM) is a division of Comcast focusing on online media. CIM was created in 2005 and is headed by President, Amy Banse and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development, Samuel Schwartz. Comcast Interactive Media products include: Comcast.net (portal), Ziddio.com (user-generated videos), Game Invasion (video games), Fandango (movie ticketing), thePlatform (media management), StreamSage (video search and indexing), and Fancast.com (entertainment).
On May 15, 2008 Comcast Interactive Media acquired social-networking site Plaxo for between 150 and 170 million dollars.
