Combustion 4 is a computer program "for motion graphics, compositing and visual effects" (Discreet, n.d.). The software retails for US$995 (MacMinute, 2004). It is commonly likened to Adobe's After Effects, and shares a similar interface with Autodesk's (formerly Discreet) higher-end compositing systems Inferno, Flame and Flint.
