Combat 786

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Combat 786 is a group operating in the Northern English areas of Bradford and Oldham. It conducts assaults on white youths, justifying these actions as a response to attacks on Muslims by neo-Nazis and skinheads, and it's name is a response to that of Combat 18, the gang it sees as its main enemy. 786 is the numerical value of the Arabic phrase at the beginning of the Qur'an, Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim, meaning "In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful".
