ComNavNAW

ComNavNAW is the approved U.S. Navy abbreviation or acronym used during World War II, indicating: "Commander NavNAW -- U.S. Naval Forces, Northwest African Waters."

Later, during the war, the command was changed to NavMed with the commander being designated as ComNavMed.
