Category talk:Compositions by Joseph Haydn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Unless anyone objects, I'm going to reorganize this category to follow the Hoboken catalogue divisions. That is, each of Hoboken's roman numeral categories with a page available will become a sub-category of the category Compositions by Joseph Haydn At the moment this category is taxonomically messy. [edit] General organization of this page

It's nice that this category contains so much useful information, but the way that it's organized into so many separate pages is a real pain. Why isn't there a "list of compositions by franz joseph haydn" entry that lists all of his works in a SINGLE PAGE, like there is with most of the other major composers? It seems like it could be coalated automatically from the multipage category. Having it available as a single page is quite useful at times because it permits easier searching. Just a thought. 216.239.165.49 12:51, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
