CBC News: Compass, formerly titled CBC News at Six: Prince Edward Island (2006–2007), CBC News: Canada Now (2000–2006) and just Compass (1986-2000) , is a 60-minute news program based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada that airs at 6:00PM AST on CBCT-TV, the CBC owned and operated television station on PEI, available to all TV, cable, or satellite owners in that province since 1986. The original anchor of the program was Roger Younker, who held the position from 1986 to 2002. Younker became a well-known and trusted celebrity within Prince Edward Island. The humorous and popular weatherman, Kevin "Boomer" Gallant, has also been with the program since 1986, and still remains.

In 2000, as a result of budget-cuts, the Prince Edward Island version was cut to a 30-minute segment and retitled to CBC News: Canada Now, with a national news segment following at 6:30PM local time, with national host Ian Hanomansing. In 2002, with Younker's departure, long-time substitute host and correspondent Sara Fraser became the anchor replacement. In 2003, newcomer Bruce Rainnie was brought in as a permanent replacement for Younker/Fraser as the anchor, and brought his own unique style to the program. Sara Fraser, formerly a co-host, continues as a substitute anchor and correspondent as of current. In May 2006, the title of the program was again changed, from CBC News: Canada Now to CBC News at Six (Prince Edward Island).

On 19 February 2007, the program returned to its 60-minute run. For the first 30 minutes, current host Bruce Rainnie hosts local news, and for the second half-hour, Rainnie continues, and hosts national and international news. The title of the program has also been changed for the third time, this time back to the original CBC News: Compass name. The 30-minute Ian Hanomansing national broadcast has been discontinued.
