[edit] Fauna (animals)
- Nominated on 10:46, 3 April 2006 (UTC); needs 15 votes by May 8, 2006.
Browsing again through the most wanted stubs, I found this article, which pales next to the former stub flora (plants). One could argue that animal is the more important article on the topic. But still, I think that fauna should have its own substantial content.

Comments:
- Unbelievably short. Flora is not much better either.Avala 17:59, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have nominated Flora (plants) as candidate to WP:AID. Both would be a wonderfull couplet of Feature articles.--Francisco Valverde 09:29, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Flora (plants) is a stub, just as much as this article is. It only seems otherwise because it's bloated by unnecessary lists. I strongly recommend nominating both flora and fauna for CotW (if both are successful, we could even do a dual-collab since they're related topics, much like we did for male and female a while back). -Silence 04:51, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Down behind, Flora (plants) has been nominated WP:COTW.--Francisco Valverde 09:28, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- Fauna (animals) is the winner. I recommend that this article be edited in tandem with fellow nominee Flora (plants) -- with more focus on Fauna, since it won. (Unfortunately, I probably won't have time to
post Fauna as the winner, notify the voters, ordo much work on the articles, since I'm taking classes and my final papers are due soon.) -Scottwiki 03:16, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
