[edit] Fair Use Policy

Because of rampant copyright paranoia, fair use images are not allowed outside of the main article namespace. Even when legal use can be established, Wikipedia still says "no" to it.

[edit] On Kilobytes and Kibibytes

A kilobyte is 2¹⁰ bytes, a megabyte is 2²⁰ bytes, and so on. To hell with the IEC, IEEE, or any other standards body. I use kilobyte in the way it's meant from day one and I won't change. I don't care if I'm banned from here (as a certain highly knowledgable person I know was[1]), I will continue to use the term properly as based on its real meaning, rather than what some con artist hard drive companies and their standards body cronies are trying to change it to.
