Removing the sentence which states that Colrain once again refers to itself at "Coleraine", as this is not true. Several years ago the Colrain Historical Society commissioned three wooden painted signs at the edges of the village of Colrain City which say "welcome to Old Coleraine", however, the town government and all town natives know the town as "Colrain."
