Article was voted for deletion. User Helicopter reverted to original nonsensical article about ice-skating on the surface of this moon. SSherris 15:31, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

SSherris, please clarify: was the consensus for delete? This article certainly needs to be cleaned, if nothing else. It is terrible as it is. Michaelbusch 18:52, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't want to delete anything important, but whats this about inhabiting igloos and drilling thourgh the ice? I don't think thats possible, I mean isnt the mean temp somewhere around -290 °F? Just wondering. Coviekiller5 16:09, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

There was a deletion discussion in 2005, but for some reason it never happened and Helicopter erased any reference to redirects or deletions. See Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Colonization_of_Europa for the actual deletion discussion. SSherris 16:46, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, the article has changed substantially since then, so it's invalid for a speedy deletion. If you think you have a case, you can create another AfD discussion per WP:AFD. --Wafulz 23:18, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

I am not certain how it has changed, so I have restored the tag for the moment. Wafulz, could you please be more specific?

The deletion did take place, on May 22, 2005. That article was substantially different from the current version. Speedy doesn't appear appropriate here; I'd suggest AfD, if you want a discussion about whether it should be deleted. Shimeru 03:31, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
