This article has been renamed from Indo-Colombian relations to Colombia-India relations as the result of a move request.

The result of the proposal was - move to reverse previous page move as unopposed and more neutral title. Keith D (talk) 11:07, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Someone change it without proposing it at the talk... I think is more neutral to keep the actual name of the countries and by alphabetical order.--Zer0~Gravity (Roger - Out) 23:55, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Gross violation of Wikipedia:WikiProject International relations guidelines. All bilateral relations articles involving India, with the exception of few, are named Indo-XXX relations. Using 'Indo' is similar to using 'Anglo', 'Franco' and 'Sino'. I'm reverting the move. If someone disagrees, please change the title of Sino-Australian relations, Sino-American relations and numerous other articles. --AI009 (talk) 11:20, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

- The exception are when alternative titles can be "Anglo-Indian relations", "Sino-Indian relations", "Franco-Indian relations" etc. Again, please stick to Wikiproject:International relations guidelines. READ Wikipedia:WikiProject International relations There are special adjectives that are to be used. Exceptions may be permitted if the name doesn't phonetically sound correct.

- "Indo-", indigenous? I fail to see the link. So you mean to say, Indo-European languages gives one the impression that we are talking about languages spoken by indigenous Europeans? What is your opinion on Indology then? This is the height of ignorance. --AI009 (talk) 10:22, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

- Apologies for that. Again, please raise the issue with the Wikiproject. The exception the Wikiproject talks about does not apply here. And also, "Indo-" is used specifically to refer to India (in politics) or the Indian subcontinent (in geography or history). --AI009 (talk) 10:32, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

- Might "Relations between India and Colombia" be preferable as (1) "India" more readily understood than "Indo" and (2) it removes use of the hyphen, which, in other circumstances, I can imagine producing cumbersome results, i.e. the combination of any country or countries whose names consist of more than one word (e.g. "Republic of China-United States relations")? - That can be written as American-Taiwanese relations. In these cases, demonyms are used. Also, we need to maintain uniformity among all bilateral relations articles. --AI009 (talk) 12:10, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
