[edit] Coverage of clock in Jeffersonville, IN
Since the earlier version of the Colgate Clock is also a major attraction, and since it would seem a separate article for that is unjustified, I just want to note that coverage of the earlier version (which still runs to this day) should be beefed up in here, as well as the article in general. - And I think greater distinction needs to be made between the Jersey city and Jeffersonville versions. The way article is written now, one could confuse the two.UnseemlyWeasel 15:15, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
I have a picture of the Jeffersonville one when it was the Indiana Reformatory. That might make it worth splitting the two into separate articles, for many of the reasons Weasel cites.--Bedford 03:27, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- If it helps for clarity purposes, I say go ahead and split. Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 03:31, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- I don't mean necessarily split the two, more along the lines of a section for the Jersey City Clock and a section for the Jeffersonville clock within the same article, of course since the J'ville one is older it should come first ;-p UnseemlyWeasel 04:42, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

- I bet the Jersey City people would be upset, though, if the Jeffersonville one came first, thus a rationale for a separate article, or at least discussing the Jeffersonville clock secondarily. The one in Jersey City, after all, is considered the most current Colgate Clock, where Jeffersonville has the old version, or relic, if you will. :) Stevie is the man! - How about using the articel "Colgate Clock" as a disambigation page, and create two new pages: "Colgate Clock (Jersey)" and "Colgate Clock (Jeffersonville)"?--Bedford 13:33, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

- That may work. Although the first should be "Colgate Clock (Jersey City)". Stevie is the man! Talk • Work 14:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

- I also agree with creating a disambiguation page. Adamkik 08:55, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
