[edit] Statesman Journal

Why is the Statesman Journal coverage notable? This smacks of self-promotion. Lots of things get covered in the media, these mentions may get used as references, but the coverage itself is not notable. Katr67 01:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

It is customary for Wikipedia articles to note when a specific article has been used as a source for articles in the media. This Wikipedia page was used as a source for the Statesman Journal article. Mythica07 02:49, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Can you cite a source for the above-noted custom? I just removed the self-reference per WP:SELF. Katr67 23:01, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Looks like you (or someone) proved my point by adding the note above ("used as media source"). Mythica07 05:08, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, Aboutmovies did that (check the diffs) but I meant in the article itself. Katr67 05:18, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Nobody proved your point, since your point was including it in the mainspace and not the talk page. There is no custom of noting the info in the article. Aboutmovies 19:28, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clean up

I think there are way too many pictures for this artilce. Additionally, I'm thinking many are a copyright violation regarding the catalog items. Aboutmovies 01:26, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Colegio = college?

The top of the article translates "colegio cesar chavez" into cesar chavez college. from a cultural standpoint, although colegio SOUNDS like college, unversidad typically means both college and university. of course, if this school IS in fact a college, i'll let the translation slide. 172.163.56.253 (talk) 03:22, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

It WAS a college, as the article indicates, and that was the name used, see the sources or the picture of the catalog at the top right. Aboutmovies (talk) 03:31, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
