Description

Image depicts a scene in the Commons area of Colegio Cesar Chavez [1]. Colegio Cesar Chavez was headquartered in Mount Angel, Oregon, and was the first fully accedited Hispanic college in the United States. The college was named in honor of Cesar Chavez, the Mexican-American Civil Rights leader. The person to the right in the photograph is Art Olivo, who worked at Colegio Cesar Chavez. His papers and archives have recently been donated to the Multicultural Archives at Oregon State University. [2] Photograph taken circa 1981.
