[edit] Summary

Stephen Colbert asks "Benjamin Franklin": "King George: great king, or the greatest king?" in an anachronistic clip shown in the Better Know a District segment of The Colbert Report, 2006-02-08. For the sake of clarity: both The Colbert Report and this clip are examples of parody; this clip is a hoax.

[edit] Fair Use Rationale

This is a reduced-resolution montage used in a critical appraisal of a parody of bad journalistic technique and use of a soundbite, magnified for comedic effect by the use of a loaded question, distortion of opinion, and obvious anachronistic hoax footage used in commentary.
