Columbus Africentric High School

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Columbus Africentric High School is a public high school located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. The schools original title, Mohawk Middle School, was changed in the late 90s, to allow the school not only separation from its original status, but also to expand it into a large school.

** Africentric won the 2005 State Championship game 74-66, but later forfeited the title to Lutheran East High School after the OHSAA determined an ineligible player was used. It is 1 of only 2 state title forfeits in OHSAA history.
