Colorado Kool-Aid is a song performed by country singer Johnny PayCheck and written by Phil Thomas. It's the story of a man in a bar who spits in the ear of a Mexican American patron there and ends up getting his ear cut off. The song is spoken in droll lyrics. "How you doin, big man, still got your ear there in your hand? Aw he can't hear, not on this side anyway, he ain't got no ear!"
Red Sovine, known best for his trucker songs such as "Giddy Up Go" and "Teddy Bear", also recorded a version of the song.
