[edit] About the Chorale

The Chorale is comprised of five choirs with 400 mixed, unchanged children’s voices in grades two through eight from all social, economic and ethnic backgrounds, representing 180 schools across the Front Range of Colorado.

They participate in over 130 annual performances. The Chorale continues to build a growing constituency of patrons for the performing arts community. The Chorale has performed with some of the world’s finest performing arts organizations, world-renowned artists, and for numerous dignitaries.

Tours have taken these singing ambassadors, who perform by invitation only, throughout Colorado, across the U.S.A., and throughout Europe, Asia, and South America.

Above and beyond the Chorale’s five choirs, an additional 1,600 children, who are mostly at-risk and from under-served communities throughout the state, participate annually in a nationally recognized education outreach program—the Conservatory.

More than 2,000 alumni have learned myriad life skills during their tenure in the Children’s Chorale, incorporating self-discipline, self-motivation, teamwork, poise, focus and confidence into their adult lives. Some alumni, fondly called "grads" work for the Chorale for a few years, helping with rehearsals and behind-the-scenes at concerts.

The Colorado Children’s Chorale is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a disciplined and efficient business operation that has a balance of earned and contributed income.
