Color Math Pink
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
ColorMathPink.com was a subscription-based website intended for helping young girls and teenagers with math. The subscription cost was $25 per year[1].
Quoting the site's first version: "Pink is the color of ballet slippers, tutus, hair ribbons, nail polish and lipstick. Lots of things for girls and women are pink, but no one ever thinks of math as pink."[2].
The site gained many links in other websites due to its exceptional name. But unfortunately, it didn't last. The site was online from 2000 until 2004, although site maintenance stopped at 2001, and its domain finally expired at April 09, 2005.
It is currently unknown why the site stopped working without any prior notice. Perhaps it is more useful to create a general site for people who are afraid from math, rather than a specialized site intended just for girls.
