Colony (song)

"Colony" is a song written by Irish singer-songwriter Damien Dempsey. It was originally released on his first album 'They Don't Teach This Shit in School', and then also included on his third album 'Shots'. The song is critical of the English attempted 'colonization' of Ireland, and also criticizes all colonial powers and their colonies throughout the world.
