Colonial Turf Cup

The Colonial Turf Cup is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually since 2005 at Colonial Downs race track in New Kent County, Virginia. A Grade III event, it is raced on turf at a distance of 9.5 Furlongs (1 and three sixteenths miles) and is open to three-year-old horses.
The Colonial Turf Cup currently offers a purse of $750,000 and is the first leg of the Grand Slam of Grass which offers a $2 million bonus for any horse who wins all four races.
