Colonia Middle School is one of the five public middle schools that serve students in sixth through eighth grade from Woodbridge Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey. The other four public middle schools in Woodbridge Township School District are Avenel Middle School, Fords Middle School, Iselin Middle School, and Woodbridge Middle School.
Colonia Middle School is the Home of the Patriots led by Principal Gregg Miller and Vice Principal Joseph O’Brien.

There are approximately 49 teachers on staff at Colonia Middle School. Approximately 629 students are enrolled. Therefore, student-teacher ratio is approximately 12.8. [1]

There are several opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom at Colonia Middle School. Extracurricular activities include, sports such as basketball, football, soccer, handball, and volleyball, Chorus, Drama Club, Early Act Club, Fitness Club, Math Club (one for each class level), Newspaper Club, Reading and Writing Club, Scenery Club, World Language Club, and Yearbook Club.
