Colm Tresson

Colm Tresson (born June 29, 1971) is a football player for Bray Wanderers, an Irish team playing in the Eircom League Premier Division. He was originally signed from St Josephs Boys in 1990 and moved on to Drogheda United in 1992. During the 1992/93 season he had an unsuccessful trial at Arsenal, playing in two reserve games. He spent five seasons with the Boynesiders before joining Portadown in 1997 for one season. He subsequently rejoined Wanderers in 1998 for his second spell with the seasiders.

Colm made his 200th league appearance for Bray Wanderers against Finn Harps in August 2003.

His achievements include the following:

  • He was voted the Supporters Club player of the year for three seasons in a row (1998/9, 1999/2000 & 2000/01). He has also won the Supporters Club player of the year award for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
  • FAI cup winner in 1999
  • PFAI First Division player of the year in 1999/2000.
  • Top league goalscorer in 2000/01 season with Wanderers.

His team nick-name is Daz, after the washing powder, due to his pale complextion
